Several blogs in one

Oh, a most productive week indeed... not in terms of work, I haven't done any... but this has been a busy, good, full week. It's made me not care at all about the state of the college. I live in Europe! I've been to Zurich and Lucerne and back just *today*!

Let me fill you in:

Patti and I have been in Florence.
I booked a room in a tiny bed and breakfast just down the street from the duomo. I booked it for two reasons -- it's in a great location between the duomo and Michelangelo's David and when I looked on the Internet for reviews, people raved about the guy who runs it, Leo (Leonardo, of course). Well, Leo, I think, is going to be a great new friend! More to follow soon on that...

When we got back to Lugano the leaves were changing!


We rode the funicular up Mount San Salvatore... this is where I live (the view from the top).


Off to the airport in Zurich now, but also wanted to show you the inside of my house. I got *great* second-hand furniture for my living room. I love my little library/sitting room with my Lazy Boy chair. Check it out...
