I haven't been to this place yet, but I know I'm gonna love it. No, more than that... it might become my own little personal mecca, tucked away in Tuscany, harboring pounds and pounds of the world's finest chocolate.
You heard right -- a brother and sister team set out about 17 years ago to make the world's finest chocolate and by many experts' estimation they have created the finest 70% dark cocoa bar in the world... and they're doing it all just a few hours away... in Tuscany! Whoever heard of such a thing?! The Renaissance, Michelangelo, pasta, gelato, espresso, leather... and now award-winning, melt-in-your-mouth, delectable little bars of creamy cocoa goodness with a store and maybe, if your olfactory system is especially lucky, even a tour. I may have died and gone to heaven.
I'm feeling a visit to the duomo and a little agritourismo coming on...
