a darn near perfect day

Yesterday was darn near perfect.

Went to the market in Bellinzona -- one of my favorite things to do:

The market was crowded with German tourists -- it's better in the Fall, but it's still one of my favorite places.

Then Sara and I went back to her place, had lunch with her husband and two little girls and worked in her yard. (After just a bit, as you can see below, she worked and I layed out in the sun!) Her house is being renovated and the front has just been painted.

Last night was the first time this year I had that tingly, salty, a-little-too-much-sun feeling. I like it. It reminds me of home.

Argo's her in-law's dog. He has it rough, let me tell you! ;-)

Alesia and Laura (the other two women from the couch photo below) came over for dinner and we chatted and gossiped and made big travel plans.

It was a darned near perfect day!
